My stay at Villa Maria Cristina had its ups and downs. The location is great for exploring Caserta, especially being just a short walk from the Royal Palace. However, the air conditioning situation was a major bummer as I had to rely on the front desk to turn it on. The breakfast setup was also lacking at times, but the pool was a lovely spot to unwind after my day out and the staff was generally friendly and accommodating.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and had a nice decor, though some minor maintenance issues popped up during my stay. I did like the garden view and found the beds comfortable enough.
Service
7.0
Most of the staff were friendly, especially Menna, who served breakfast and remembered my coffee order. However, there were some hiccups like not having an iron available when I needed one.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a super convenient spot, allowing easy access to major attractions in Caserta, which made my daily outings effortless.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had decent variety, but I noticed it was sometimes short on options. The restaurant's lunch was tasty, but I’d say it didn't always hit the mark at dinner.
Facilities

The pool area is a standout feature; it was clean and provided a great escape. I just wish the air conditioning worked better without needing to bother the front desk.

5.8/10

Overall, my stay at Villa Maria Cristina had its ups and downs. The location was prime, right in the center of Caserta, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, but I faced some issues with the air conditioning and breakfast quality. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially the breakfast server who remembered my coffee order, which added a personal touch. However, I found the dining options to be a bit hit-or-miss, especially during my last night.

Rooms
7.0
My room was modern and spacious, with a sleek bathroom that I appreciated. However, I encountered some maintenance issues, like the curtains coming off the rails.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly during breakfast, but I found their overall service level to be inconsistent, especially noting that they didn't assist with luggage or other typical amenities.
Location
9.0
The location couldn't be better! It was just a short walk to major attractions like the Royal Palace, making it incredibly convenient for my plans in Caserta.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast had a decent variety, but some options were dry and unappealing. The main dining options were limited when I stayed, and while the pasta was disappointing, the steak was a pleasant surprise.
Facilities
8.0
The pool area was impressive and offered a great escape from the summer heat, and the parking was easy and secure, which I found reassuring during my stay.

My stay at Villa Maria Cristina had its ups and downs. The serene pool area was a good escape, and the staff, especially Menna at breakfast, went above and beyond (I loved how she remembered my coffee order!). However, the air conditioning issues and slow wifi detracted from the overall experience.

Being in the center of Caserta was great for exploring the area, making day trips to Naples and Pompeii easy.
Dining

The breakfast options were good, but I felt they could offer more savory and bread choices. The pizza at the restaurant was indeed fantastic.
Facilities

While the pool area was a highlight, I had some trouble with the air conditioning and the slow wifi was a bit frustrating.

7.2/10

I had a mixed experience at Villa Maria Cristina. On the plus side, the pool area was beautiful and relaxing, a perfect escape especially on warm afternoons. However, I encountered issues like having to ask for air conditioning control, which was a hassle, and the breakfast experience was somewhat marred by noise from staff cleaning outside. Overall, while I appreciated the location and the great staff, I faced some annoyances that impacted my stay.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom, making it pretty comfortable. However, I had trouble with the air conditioning shutting off too early at night, which really made it hard to sleep well.
Service
7.0
The staff was generally friendly and attentive, especially Menna who served breakfast and remembered my coffee order, which added a personal touch I appreciated. But, the overall service quality felt a bit average compared to some other places I've stayed.
Location

The hotel is in a great spot, right in the center of Caserta and close to the Palace, making it easy to explore the area. This location made it super convenient for day trips to nearby attractions.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent with good variety, but I felt the outdoor noise from maintenance work really took away from the relaxed vibe I hoped for. The restaurant, however, had some inconsistent service, which was disappointing.
Facilities

The pool is a highlight, nice and clean, perfect for cooling off. But I was really bummed that it wasn’t working when I arrived, despite being told it would be operational soon. Plus, wifi was slow, which is always a letdown when you're trying to plan your next adventures.
